Mission and Vision

Bioengineering is an engineering discipline that brings the science of life together with the principles of science and engineering to understand and solve the problems encountered in life related fields such as medicine, veterinary, food and environmental science. This is science; Besides basic and applied branches of engineering such as mass and heat transfer, kinetics, biocatalysis, biomechanics, separation and purification techniques, bioreactor design, surface chemistry, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and polymer chemistry; aims to provide solutions unique to today's society in different dimensions and sectors by creating a bridge between research and knowledge accumulation in basic and applied sciences such as genetics, molecular biology, protein chemistry, metabolism, cell physiology and biochemistry, cytology, bioelectrical, neurobiology, immunology and pharmacology.
